Idaho Mountain Maternity

Madi and Ethan were my bride and groom four years ago! I can’t believe it’s been that long since I shot their Utah wedding! When they had baby Collins I was able to do a lifestyle newborn session which was beautiful. It was so fun hanging out with these three again. Madi totally has the pregnancy glow! 33 weeks pregnant and she still hiked up a mountain for me. I love these views that are so close to Rigby, Rexburg and Idaho Falls! And I’m so glad we decided on this beautiful mountain location after going back and forth on a couple other locations.

Collins was actually teething but she totally rocked the family photos! She was so smiley even through teething! And those photos of Collins kissing baby sister? I’m obsessed with them! Have I mentioned how much I just love these Idaho mountains? I’m so grateful my clients love the mountains as much as I do. Madi, Ethan and I talked about all the place here in Idaho they Razor around and it got me thinking about how awesome of a place we live! I love the mountaintops and adventure areas we have so close to us. Enjoy just a few of my favorites from the Bennett’s maternity session.

Rigby Spring Maternity Session

In April, Tanner and Brittny will be celebrating their 3 year Anniversary! I loved their Pocatello Bridals and I’ve done multiple family sessions between then and now!

Brittny and I decided to head to Cress Creek for her family and maternity photos almost a month ago! We rescheduled once due to some crazy weather, but I’m so happy we were able to get them done this past weekend! Even though spring doesn’t look like real spring until around May in Idaho, I loved the greens we still had and that gorgeous sunlight coming in through these trees! Cress Creek is always an awesome option during any time of year! Not to mention, the little hike reminds me to get in shape and work out more.

During this crazy time, I’ve realized how blessed I am. I have some great friends, (including the ones below), a beautiful home I LOVE, a hard working husband who I adore, really good food to eat during quarantine, and an amazing family. While this is a hard for all of us, I hope we each remind ourselves how blessed we are.

This too shall pass.

And I can’t wait for our “normal” to be back.

Idaho Falls Woodsy Engagements

Sierra was working at Pizza Pie Cafe when Josh came in. In the words of Sierra, “I was smitten by him!” Sierra decided to tell her co-worker to tell Josh that he needed to ask Sierra out! And guess what? He did! Their first date was at Gravity Factory in Rexburg, which I must say, that’s a pretty awesome first date. After dating for about 2 months, Sierra made a few jokes about how Josh wasn’t allowed to fall in love with her. On one summer night while they were driving to go hang out with some friends, they were singing in the car. Josh told Sierra he loved her and the rest is history!

Sierra and Josh were a ball to hang out with during their engagement session! It was a pretty chilly day and as much as we wanted to go to the mountains, we decided to stay local so we didn’t get stuck in snow or too cold during their session. I’m glad we went to one of my trusty locations in Idaho Falls! I can’t get over this amazing forest vibe this hidden gem gives off.

I could hang out with Sierra and Josh everyday! Seriously, so kind and down to Earth. Not to mention totally themselves during their shoot! Posing was not required for these two. I appreciated how low key Sierra and Josh were. I feel like these two could have fun doing literally anything! We honestly were out just out in the snow having some fun, and getting a few photos in between it all. I’m counting down the days until Sierra and Josh’s April wedding! I cannot wait to document these two again!
