Courtney + Ben • Rexburg Temple Wedding

Courtney and Ben were married April 9th on a windy afternoon. Darcy Case of Ruby Plum Photo was the head photographer for their beautiful wedding day, but I was able to assist/second shoot for their temple exit and bridals!

Ben had some super awesome Groomsmen! I know how much groomsmen dread photos, but these guys were more than happy to do whatever I asked! Not to mention they kept me laughing the entire time I did the group shots. If you follow me on Snapchat you were able to see a glimpse into the behind the scenes with them. (@jayceephotos)

As I watched these two on their special day, I loved seeing the way Ben looked at Courtney. He was so sincere in all his sweet gestures towards her. I was off in the distance for majority of my shots but the authentic emotion they had for their entire day reminded me how much I enjoy capturing love. Happy Two Month Anniversary (tomorrow) you two! Thanks for letting me be apart of your special day!

Jaiden + Beau • Ririe Engagements

Jaiden and Beau made this session one to remember. As we explored and moved from different locations during their session, they were always hand in hand giggling together. Their easy-going personalities and the gorgeous light we had were what made this session so perfect! Here are just a few of my favorites from Jaiden and Beau's Engagement session.

Mom's Chocolate Chip Cookies

Back in April my family came up to Idaho for my cousin's wedding. I honestly thought our two bedroom apartment was fairly large until we had 6 people sleeping here. Even though it was a little tight, we had an amazing time having my family here. Especially since they don't get to come up often. My brother was able to tour great schools in the area with my dad, while my mother and sister assisted me in my crazy three Wedding weekend.

After saying our goodbye's Sunday morning, I went back in the apartment looking for something to snack on. I opened the freezer to find my mother's homemade cookie dough. My selfless mother made her famous homemade Chocolate Chip cookie dough and brought it up all the way from Cheyenne!

This is my mom to a T. She happily serves those around her in any possible capacity. When I call her she will drop what she's doing to help me with what I need. She goes the extra mile and I've always admired that about her.

Today I was finally able to bake the cookie dough she had left me, and it was AH-MAZ-ING! Jacob was pretty obsessed with them too. We may or may not have ate a dozen each... Thank you Mom. Come back to Idaho soon?
