Kicking off blogging on my new website with a couple who is the epitome of my new brand! Christina and Spencer are everything I ever wanted in my couples! These two came all the way from Kentucky for epic engagement photos in the Rocky Mountains of Idaho. We tossed around a couple location ideas back in March when Christina first emailed me. Good thing she booked it so far in advance because my summer is already getting so crazy! I told both her and Spencer I was grateful she took the time in advance to make plans so I had the opportunity to show them my Idaho.
The moment I started document Christina and Spencer’s chemistry, I couldn’t get enough! Their upbeat and adventurous personalities made our session together worth while! We hiked up a few of my favorite spots and honestly drove all over the place as I wanted to get them as much variety since they weren’t from the area. I love having couples who “ooo” and “ahhh” with me at how gorgeous Idaho is! One of my favorite parts of this session is the overcast skies we had! While some photographers prefer pretty light, in the mountains, I love having overcast to show the outlines of the mountains all around us! Another one of my favorite parts was how Christina and Spencer made this session their own! They brought a bottle of Champagne to pop during the session and blankets of their grandparents that we also included in their photos. This session is seriously what I aspire all my sessions to be like. Adventure, romance, and the Rocky Mountains!
