Tanner + Brittny • Pocatello Bridals

Pocatello has been on my list of places I've wanted to shoot. Every time we drive to Utah I can't help but stare at the stunning mountains through the area. When Brittny mentioned she wanted to do Bridals in Pocatello, I was thrilled, but I had no idea where to shoot! Thank goodness Tausha, Brittny's mom, knew this beautiful area. One of my favorite parts of this spot was being completely surrounded by mountains.

We started the session with a beautiful first look. I think "first looks" are one of the best parts of a bridal session. The excitement that builds up before seeing your future spouse, best friend, and wedding date for the rest of your life, it's pretty neat. I also love being able to document it! Those moments are some of the sweetest and most memorable from my own wedding.

Tanner and Brittny were so giggly and just totally in love during their session! Having been good friends with Tanner the past few years, I am so happy he's found someone who I consider absolutely perfect for him! Congrats to Tanner and Brittny on their wedding day!

These two also did one of the coolest things I've ever had a bride and groom do! Check it out at the end of this blog post!

Kaylee + Nate • Idaho Engagements

I have dreamed for a location like this. One with variety and options. I'm obsessed with the mountain view, the lake and beach, and of course the sagebrush! I've grown to love sagebrush here in Idaho. This hidden gem is about the same distance from to Rexburg to Kelly's which makes it perfect for my clients! Not to mention the weather is usually better in this area than it is in Idaho Falls.

Kaylee and Nate were so willing to test it out and can I say DREAMY! Nate and Kaylee spent quite a bit of time on the beach together. And in March Nate proposed to Kaylee on the beach of Texas! Idaho doesn't have beaches, but we fake it pretty good. Halfway through our session Kaylee pointed out this stunning field. Those romantic shots of Kaylee and Nate in the field are some of my favorites from the entire session!

Shoot and Share Contest

2017 was my second year entering the annual Shoot and Share Contest. I throughly enjoy the Shoot and Share contest because it's unbiased and anonymous, (unless, of course, you've seen the photos before). I can send the link to friends and family because anyone can vote! And it gets pretty addicting.

Finalist badges are given to the Top 3.5% of the entire contest. That includes all the photos entered! Top 30%, 20%, and 10% are given for each category, such as engagements, portraits, family, etc.

This is an annual, world-wide photo contest. In 2017, 332,768 photos were submitted, and over 49 MILLION votes were cast by 104,378 people from 141 different countries! 25 of JayCee Photography's photos received badges in 2017.
